Lambeth Real Estate Has Been Quite Active

Houses in Lambeth, a neighbourhood in South West London have received a lot of activity in the period from January 1, 2010 to March 8, 2010.Present listings vary from as low as $199,000 up to $539,000 which really explains the diversity of Lambeth and basically two neighbourhoods, one in 'downtown Lambeth' and the other what I call the Outer Drive neighbourhood.

In these numbers I did not include the neighbourhood in Southwinds Village and other homes off of Colonel Talbot Road.

Lambeth Housing Sales Hot in January 2010

There were 8 houses that sold in Lambeth in January with the average selling price of $432,975 which was 97% of the asking price of $445,588. These homes were on the market for an average of 80 days but as I have mentioned before, days on the market may not be the wisest criteria to base a decision!

At present there are 16 resale homes for sale in this small south west London community and the activity for February has been quite robust.

It may not be a good thing to be sitting on the fence right now, the fence is wobbly and if you are not careful, the fence may tip where you don't want it to go.

I cannot fix a fence but I'm pretty accurate which way it is going to tip!

Lambeth Neighbourhood in London Ontario

               Lambeth is a neighbourhood in the City of London, Ontario, Canada.

     Lambeth was formerly a population centre in Westminster Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. It held the status of Police Village (lacking corporate status as a village, but administered by a board of trustees) until an effort was made to stop annexation by the City of London which brought about the creation of the Town of Westminster in 1988, which itself ceased to exist on December 31, 1992.

On January 1, 1993, the Town of Westminster, including the village of Lambeth, became part of the City of London. To this day, some residents refuse to call the neighbourhood anything but Lambeth, Ontario.

  The neighborhood comes together to celebrate its agricultural past each fall. This celebration is called Harvestfest and it usually takes place the first week after Labour Day, beginning on the Thursday and running until late Sunday. It features many events such as a baseball tournament, an adult dance, teen dance, and pre-teen dance, parade, occasional rides for kids, pancake breakfast for the town, auto show and shine, as well as two beer tents in different locations featuring a live band all day and night.
