The paints were designed with not only style and rider cockiness, but were tested in Ottawa in the wind tunnels at NRC (National Research Council).
The riders had final say and made a few changes in styling and complied with the Olympic Association Dress Adherence.
However, as a Canadian Silver Medal winner remarked after an American Gold Medal performance in bringing perspective to pant attire: " He was faster and I made a mistake on a jump. It wouldn't matter what pants I was wearing!"
So there you go, as in real estate, as in a children's sandbox , schoolyard or high performance competition, excuses abound if we lose a game but in the end, it's how you take the loss and admit that the winner at that particular moment, competed better than you!
