"I've never heard of you before". I have had prospective buyers or sellers say that to me. I have had other REALTORS® say that to me as well.
One of the main reasons you have not heard of me or my brokerage is that we promote your property and not ourselves when we list your home. If and when we produce an ad in print, if we use a picture of us, it is not larger than your house.
People don't care about me or Envelope Real Estate Brokerage, they want to know about your property, what are the features and how can I see it. 
They don't care about how many awards this, how many years in the business (or 20 years of 1 year's experience) or other self promotion.
I am not on an ego trip with your listing. Am I not a proud person? You bet I am! Over 90% of my business comes from referrals, over 90%!.Why do you think that is? The answer is results, plain and simple.
Unfortunately for getting my name out there, the last 3 listings we took last week all sold in less than 4 days, so all you will see is a Sold Sign
and not an 'open house' or a 'just listed' or a 'reduced' or freshly painted or other excuse signs.
For the 16 buyers that are under contract and wanting to purchase and of those 9 having to purchase in 30 days or less, they know me. How? Again 10 by referral and the other 6 by the information we provide, the comfort they have with our knowledge of the market and most importantly, (from their mouths) they trust us!
Oh, and for the other REALTORS®? They are no longer in the business. I and my associates put the real into real estate, real care, real people and real results!
