This past 2 weeks have been quite hectic with students and or their parents looking for suitable rental accommodations or something inexpensive to buy.
The biggest complaints I hear are costs, inadequate housing (run down, dirty, noisy, troublesome etc) and most important, safety.
Over the years because of the families I have helped in finding suitable accommodations, I have learned of areas to avoid, landlords to avoid and of course, the good landlords and some of the better values if purchasing.
Yesterday a real estate agent in Toronto who was referred to me called me about helping his parents and younger brother find a decent place to lease. Apparently he is in a house with 5 other guys and because of the mess, noise and other incidents, he was spending most of his time at the library studying.
I hear this weekly from my referred callers! For suitable and reasonable accommodation in London near Western, I can help.
